You are welcome to join us at Launde Abbey for a private retreat of your own. Our picturesque, well-tended grounds, surrounded by 450 acres of rolling parkland, offers a unique setting in which to find stillness and encounter God. On an individual, self-guided retreat, you are free to organise your time however you see fit. Spend some time in quiet contemplation, stroll around the grounds or join in with our daily rhythm of prayer and worship. Your private retreat is your own, and we are here to support you to have an experience that is right for you. Canonbie Christian Retreat Centre Canonbie Christian Retreat Centre provides conference and holiday facilities in the scenic Scottish borders. The Retreat Centre comprises Byreburnfoot House, together with our two luxury self-catering cottages and landscaped gardens.  It’s the ideal setting for individuals, families and groups to spend quality time with the Lord and to be refreshed in body, mind and spirit.
