The Real Thing is a weeklong mix of fun, action, friendship, excitement, adventure, silliness, and growth aimed directly at older teenagers. The holiday takes place in a wooded valley in an area of outstanding natural beauty, so we sleep in log cabins, do a fair bit of outdoor stuff like walks on the hills, including a hike with overnight camping. Great Dayz is based at the fantastic Great Wood in the Quantock Hills. Children stay in log cabins and enjoy the forest environment, a mixture of traditional and new games and activities, the swimming pool, and take a close look at a different book from the Bible each year.
